Michalis Vlatakis – Chairman
Michalis founded Kosmos Group in 1977. He has 45 years of experience in the travel industry and serves as the President of the Association of Cretan Tourism & Travel Agencies (ACCTA). Michalis is also the Vice President of General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises (GEPOET) and is currently a Board Member of Plastika Kritis S.A., one of the leading European producers of masterbatches and agricultural films that has been listed in the Athens Stock Exchange since 1999.
Angelos Vlatakis – Chief Executive Officer
Angelos was appointed CEO of the Group from June 2021. Angelos had previously worked as an Investment Banker with Canaccord Genuity Limited and ABN AMRO, where he advised on a variety M&A and Equity Capital Markets transactions.
Prior to that he worked with Kosmos Investment as Financial Advisor, where he provided investment advice in securities, money market instruments, derivatives and structured financial products. He started his career as Equity Research Analyst with Investment Bank of Greece. Angelos holds a BBA from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSC in Corporate Finance & Banking from EDHEC Business School.
Anastasis Vlatakis – Chief Financial Officer
Anastasis joined Kosmos Group in October 2012, following his graduation from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) with a BSc degree in Marketing along with an OMCP Digital Marketing Certification. He is responsible for the strategic planning of Kosmos Group and managing of the financial actions.
